      In sexual reproduction one sperm fertilises one egg – usually this will then develop into one baby. But sometimes the egg can split into two after it has been fertilised which leads to identical twins! (or even triplets/quadruplets if the fertilised egg splits into 3 or 4 – but this is quite rare)

      Are there any twins at your school?
