Depends on the week. This week I’ve done two long ones. Sometimes an experiment can take a month or two from start to finish and have lots of different parts, other experiments are really quick and can be done in a couple of hours.

      hi Laura,

I normally do one experiment each day when I’m in the lab. Some days I also give lectures and go to conferences.

      Hi Laura!

Usually I do about three experiments a week. Each of them takes several days so I usually have several experiments going at once. I have to keep good notes so I remember what to do for each one!

      Hey Laura,

I’m similar to the rest of the guys, normally I do about 3 or 5 little experiments each week but this week I’m not doing any because I am mostly writing up all the results of the experiments I’ve been doing. This is an important part of being a scientist too and it always takes much longer than than you think it will to interpret the results and make your graphs look all nice!

      Hi Laura,

Just like the other scientists it depends on the week and what type of experiment I need to do.
This week I didn’t do many experiments, this is because I have to prepare to lecture for my department and teach a practical class.
Sometimes I can run lots of experiments when its something I am used to doing, if it is a new experiment I usually like to focus just on that one.
