      Hi Molly,

Well when I was at school after my GCSE’s I got to do work experience at my local hospital (I thought I wanted be a medical doctor!). I got to follow around a consultant surgeon, he operated on patients with breast and intestine cancer. He was a great teacher and he got me really interested in it, I was also lucky enough to meet all the other scientists and doctors involved in the process. So that first sparked the interest in me!
Then during my degree I got to learn about cancer in bit more in depth and thought that I would really like to be part of helping stop cancer, especially as it could affect us or someone close to us. So here I am!
