• Question: What is the most fascinating and amazing thing that you have seen cells do?

      I’ve seen some cells called schwann cells change formation when they’ve sensed damage to nerves occurring and then they make these little lines or paths that help nerve cells grow in a straight line towards other nerve cells. It’s really cool because no matter how much you mix them up, they move into position ready to help nerve cells get better. I think that’s probably the coolest thing I’ve seen because they don’t have any brain telling them what to do but they manage it every time.
