I was really interested in science from when I was about 10. In year 8 I had already decided i wanted to be a scientist so i tried to work hard at science so i could become a scientist when i left school. So i suppose i was quite good at science by then but I was completely rubbish at music, drama and art! There was also a science club at my school which was great for doing experiments that you wouldnt normally do in lessons!
I have always been interested in science but I can’t remember if I was particularly good at it…
I do know that it wasn’t always easy and some topics I found really difficult to get my head round. So don’t worry if you find it a bit hard, it’s the challenge that makes it so more satisfying when you finally understand it!
I think I was ok at Biology and Chemistry but rubbish at Physics, and I wasn’t top of my class in them. It wasn’t until I started doing GCSE biology that I found it really interesting and started to get better at it.
I was I think. My school reports always used to say I was good at science, drama and sport. Bad at art and music. And I hated French. I think I actually lost interest in science a bit in the build up to my GCSE’s because I didn’t enjoy the topics very much, but my school organised trips to science places for students who were interested, which made it more enjoyable.
