• Question: Do you have any links to articles or reading sources about your research on egg cells and how age effects the health of the babies?

      Hi janani!

Thanks so much for your questions in the chat yesterday. It is really nice when people are interested in your work! 😀 Are you interested in doing something scientific when you leave school?

Here is a link to my lab’s website where you can read more about what we do:
      http://www.instituteforwomenshealth.ucl.ac.uk/academic_research/reproductivehealth/oer/bs-1

Also if you are interested in reproduction in general there is a really good website called BioNews which sends out a weekly newsletter by email. It is for non-specialists so shouldn’t be too hard and boring to read! http://www.bionews.org.uk/home.

Another good thing to read is a book called ‘a child against all odds’ by Robert Winston which is about IVF and fertility treatments in general and talks a bit about ageing too. That is a really interesting book!

I hope that is helpful and let me know if you would like to know anything else!

      Katie
