I am. I am only 12. But I want to Know how i can make myself run faster. This isn’t compleatly random. I am on the Cross Country tem the Hockey Team and theNetball team and the Rounders team and the tennis team and the athletics team. Plus I am the fastest girl in Coventry for my age group.
Hi 11mcternanl. I don’t know if you’ve asked anyone yet, but I would suggest doing something called plyometric training. I used to run the 100m for my University and we did a lot of this. The other thing that can help is doing repeated sets of maybe 100m sprints with only a minute or so between each. 2 sets of 4. This will improve your speed endurance. Ask people to help you get perfect technique, because then you will run more efficiently. Here is a website that has lots of useful exercises and training techniques. http://www.brianmac.co.uk/plymo.htm
Hi 11mcternanl, good question! Ask it through the yellow ASK button at the top of the screen and the scientists will answer it for you there. And keep up the running 🙂 Rosie.
